World-Class Research & Collaboration.
Carbogenics’ state-of-the-art laboratory facilities are located at King’s Buildings Campus of the University of Edinburgh. The campus is also home to the UK Biochar Research Centre (UKBRC), a world-leading hub in biochar research.
We have close ties with research groups within UKBRC as well as the wider academic community based at King’s Buildings. This ideal environment has facilitated many productive research partnerships, both past and ongoing.

We have extensive expertise in the chemical and biological aspects of the anaerobic digestion process. Together with our state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, this allows us to offer a range of analytical services. The types of analysis we can perform include:
